    LOSTANDFOUND....

What part of Iowa are you in? I was born in AZ but I was moved here to AZ just before i was born. All my family is in northern Iowa, i always thought social d should play the serf ballroom the place where Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper last played before they died in a plane crash)in Clearlake.

No one has mentioned Jesse Dayton as an opening the act. I saw Jesse and the Road Kings open for Mike on his previous solo tour. He's quite a performer

I will be at the Denver show. Jesse Dayton is great, my band opened for him when he first came to Denver, he is a really good guy and a great friend.

I'll be in Chicago! Only bummer is that it's a Tuesday night. Oh well - at least it's close to Memorial Day - maybe I can squeeze in some extra time off! Hope to see some of you there!

    MikeAZ:

The Surf Ballroom would be a kickass place for Mike and/or Social D to play! I have been to Clear Lake several times for work and the last time I was there, I purchased a replica of the Valens/Holly/Bopper last show poster at the Surf. Cool stuff. Lots of history at the Surf. To answer your question, I live near Des Moines.

hell yeah i saw Jesse on the second solo tour, in kentucky and chicago - the road kings were badass. it took me three months to track down their record after the show, and i had their song "harder than your heart" stuck in my head through the whole process. most bands, after that long, you totallly forget about them, but they put on a hell of a show. glad JD is still active
